REFUND POLICY

~    A full refund will be given when canceling at least 2 weeks prior to the camp, program or activity.
~    A 50% refund of the total fee paid will be given when canceling or dropping out of the camp, program or activity less than 2 weeks prior to the start of the camp, program or activity.
~ No refunds will be given the day of or after the start of the camp, program or activity.

ADVENTURE CAMPS I AND II

High Adventure awaits you this week. Learn new outdoor skills that will test your courage, make your heart race, get you laughing, and help you to appreciate what the great outdoors has to offer. Climbing, kayaking, ropes courses, zip lines, hiking, and much more. ** Participants may register for only one Adventure Camp. **

Ages: 10 - 12 years

Dates: June 1 - 5, June 22 - 26, July 27 - 31

Time: 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.*

$125 + $50 Equipment Fee per week

City Resident: $110 + $50 Equipment Fee per week  *Optional childcare available from 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. for an additional fee of $50.

~ Adventure Camp II:

Ages: 13 - 15 years

Dates: June 15 - 19, July 13 - 17

Time: 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Fee: $125 + $50 Equipment Fee per week

ZOOLOGIST CAMP

Do you want to be an animal scientist or just love to learn about the natural world?  If you would like to engage in activities that involve wildlife, their habitats, natural history, research and conservation this is the camp for you. The first 2 days will be filled with fun activities at the Wilderness Station that explore our native wildlife and their needs.  Then we will pack up and hit the road for the remainder

of the week as we visit some of our most beautiful natural places in the state.  We will meet several professionals in this line of work to find out all the ways you can contribute to and help our wildlife.  

Wednesday through Friday we will travel and camp in and around the Cherokee National Forest as we focus on stream biodiversity and the amazing animals that live there.  Transportation, camping gear, and meals while camping will be provided.  

Ages: 13 - 15 years

Dates: July 6 - 10

Times: Mon/Tues: 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Wed. drop off: 8:00 a.m.

Fri. pick up: 4:00 p.m.

EXPLORERS CAMP

Take this week to really EXPLORE the outdoors. We will combine adventure and wildlife activities that’s are sure to bring out the explorer in every kid. Enjoy kayaking, bouldering, hiking, and more. Learn about all the animals that call Tennessee home while enjoying new friends as you share laughs and make memories during this fun-filled week.

Participants may register for ONLY ONE Explorers Camp.

WILDLIFE CAMP

Love animals? Love the outdoors? Wildlife Camp is calling your name. Strengthen your appreciation of Tennessee’s wildlife and outdoor sports by spending the week with us. Enjoy fishing, kayaking, reptile research, hiking, birds of prey program, outdoor cooking, and archery. Experience the outdoors in a new way this summer. Participants may register for ONLY ONE Wildlife Camp.

TEENS: SUMMER KAYAK CLUB

Hey Teens! Summer’s around the corner, and it’s time to find something to do in the great city of Murfreesboro. How about spending your time and energy on the waterways that are around us? Every week we will embark on a new adventure along the Stones River. Learn kayak paddle strokes, how to read the river, and water safety techniques while meeting new friends. Registration begins March 1 and is filled on a first-come basis. Limited to 8 participants.

Ages: 13 - 18

Dates: Thursdays, June 4 - July 2

Time: 3:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Locations: Will vary.

CHEER CAMP at SPORTS*COM

Come get the Cheer Spirit at Cheer Camp. We will have experienced cheer instructors to teach the beginning cheerleader or the more advanced. Your little cheerleader will be learning chants and cheers, tumbling, choreographed dance, and most importantly fun. The week will end with a show for all family and friends to see what their cheerleader has learned.  Campers will spend the afternoon each day at Boro Beach Water Park under staff supervision.

SPORTS CAMP AT SPORTS*COM

At Sports Camp, participants ages 8-14 explore a variety of sports and activities. Emphasis is on sportsmanship, good attitudes, teamwork and Fun. Campers will play sports such as dodge ball, flag football, kickball, softball/baseball, and soccer throughout the week long camp. Campers will spend the afternoon each day at Boro Beach Water Park under staff supervision.  This camp is one of the best, affordable camps in Murfreesboro.  Sign up early to secure your child’s spot.

PIONEER CAMP

GUARD START JR. LIFEGUARD CAMP

Do something unique and learn how to save lives and become an American Red Cross Junior Lifeguard. At this camp you will learn First-Aid, CPR, water rescues, and you will be able to tell your friends you are a certified Junior Lifeguard! You will receive an official Jr. Guard Shirt. *This course does not make you CPR certified, but the basics of CPR will be taught.

Volleyball Camp is a great way to stay on your game.  Qualified coaches will instruct both beginners and advanced players with player development.  Emphasis is placed on establishing and perfecting fundamentals while enjoying a fun camp atmosphere.  Campers will participate in numerous skills, drills and game like situations.  Campers will spend the afternoon each day at Boro Beach Water Park under staff supervision.

Learn about the past through different art forms! We are taking a hands-on approach to history through music, dance, art, and theatre. Learn about the past and find creative ways to relate it to the present. Discover a unique passion for the importance of history!

ULTIMATE BABY SITTERS' CLUB

Whether you want to start your own babysitting business, or just want know what you are doing when left in charge of your younger siblings or cousins, this class will give you the skills that you need to be an Ultimate Baby Sitter. This week-long class will include certification in infant and child CPR, AED and first aid as well as in Child and Babysitting Safety, all through the American Safety and Health Institute. We’ll also go over some activities to help you entertain your little charges. Space is limited to ensure adequate training.

FINE ART CAMP

Visualize Murfreesboro! Learn different art techniques and experiment with several different mediums in workshops lead by local artists. Campers will be introduced to poetry and have the opportunity to combine the written word with illustration. Collaborate with professional artists to create a functional piece of art that will become a permanent installation on the Breezeway Restorative trail.

During this week-long camp, students will improve skills that will help them with performing in a musical in the future, including vocal training, stage presence skills, and performing.
