LEGAL NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS
Application Z-18-001 by Nicholas Tarola, requesting three variances from the City of Murfreesboro Zoning Ordinance, Chart 2, to construct a 2-story medical office building:
- Variance of 19 feet from the required 42-foot front setback along W. McKnight Drive;
- Variance of 13 feet from the required 42-foot front setback along N. Maple Street; and
- Variance of 10 feet from the required 25-foot side setback.
Property is zoned Commercial Fringe (CF), and located at 1216 North Maple Street.
Application Z-18-002 by Huddleston Steele Engineering representing Kathy Nobles, requesting a 15-foot Variance from the City of Murfreesboro Zoning Ordinance, Chart 2, requiring a minimum of 30 feet front building setback for principal structures for property. Property is zoned Multiple-Family Residential (RM), and located at 1245 Old Lascassas Drive.
Application Z-18-003 by Roger and Kimberly Hopkins, requesting two variances from the City of Murfreesboro Zoning Ordinance, Chart 2, to construct a new residence:
- Variance of 8 feet from the required 10-foot front setback along Hancock Street; and
- Variance of 3 feet from the required 5-foot side setback.
Property is zoned Single Family Residential (RS-4) and City Core Overlay, and located at 702 East Vine Street.
Application Z-18-004 by Bobby Kirby of Investment Partners, is requesting a Special Use Permit to develop a self-service storage facility (Womack Self-Storage) in accordance with the Murfreesboro Zoning Ordinance, Chart 1. The 3-story storage building will be 93,000 square feet. Property is zoned MU (Mixed Use), and located on a future unnamed street north of Medical Center Parkway (Tax Map 92, Parcel 8.06).
Application Z-18-005 by Samantha Peterson, requesting a Special Use Permit to allow a home based business of make-up application. Property is located in a Single Family Residential (RS-12) zoning district, located at 2607 Ritz Lane.
