Application Z-18-014 by Erick Bixler requesting a ten (10) foot Variance from the City of Murfreesboro Zoning Ordinance, Chart 2, requiring a minimum of 40 feet front building setback for principal structures to allow 30 feet, for property zoned Residential Single Family (RS-15), located at 3050 Ashbury Lane.

Application Z-18-015 by City of Murfreesboro, Parks and Recreation Department requesting a Variance from Section 18(G)(4) of the Murfreesboro Zoning Ordinance requiring light poles not exceed 20 feet height for sites where the building is less than 35 feet height to allow light poles with fixtures ranging from 70 ft to 80 ft for athletic lighting for 8 new baseball fields.  Property is zoned Park (P), located at 2105 Blackman Road.

Application Z-18-016 by Joe Hargis, representing Eco-Site, and Alcorn Properties, requesting a Special Use Permit for a “wireless telecommunication tower,” pursuant to Section 31 and Chart 1 of the Murfreesboro Zoning Ordinance, for construction of a new wireless telecommunication monopole, and Variance from Murfreesboro Zoning Ordinance, Chart 2 requiring maximum height of 75 feet to allow the proposed 175 ft height. Property is zoned Highway Commercial (CH), located at 0 Innsbrooke Blvd., vacant lot behind the Kroger Store at 2946 S Church Street.  

Application Z-18-017 by Olivia Fuentes, requesting a Special Use Permit to construct a 520 square foot accessory apartment, in accordance with the City of Murfreesboro Zoning Ordinance, Chart 1, above a one-car garage, for the property in the Residential Single Family (RS-10) zoning district, located at 2406 Willow Drive.

Application Z-18-018 by Mike Dugger, requesting a Special Use Permit to construct a 520 square foot accessory apartment, in accordance with the City of Murfreesboro Zoning Ordinance, Chart 1, within a three-car detached garage.  Property zoned Residential Single Family (RS-15), located at 842 River Rock Blvd.

Application Z-18-019 by Jake Lloyd of Mid-America Distributor, Owner Kroger, LP, John Corbitt, requesting a Special Use Permit to allow operation of a Temporary Outdoor Vending Establishment (seasonal fireworks sales), in accordance with the City of Murfreesboro Zoning Ordinance, Section 9.D.2(eeee).  Property is zoned Highway Commercial (CH), located at 4442 Veteran’s Pkwy.

Application Z-18-020 by Jake Lloyd of Mid-America Distributor, Owner Kroger, LP, John Corbitt, requesting a Special Use Permit to allow operation of a Temporary Outdoor Vending Establishment (seasonal fireworks sales), in accordance with the City of Murfreesboro Zoning Ordinance, Section 9.D.2(eeee).  Property is zones Highway Commercial (CH), located at 2946 S Church St.

Application Z-18-021 by Yejia Xue, requesting Administrative Appeal regarding Planning Staff decisions and rulings regarding Site Plan Approval for Parkway Plaza LLC, Medical Center Pkwy Retail Phase 2. Property is zoned Commercial Highway (CH), located at 2839 Medical Center Parkway.
