Board of Zoning Appeals Public Hearings

Application Z-20-034 by Ms. Amphorn Facunla, is requesting a special use permit in order to conduct a home occupation (a beauty shop) at her residence located at 1065 Warrior Drive.  The property is located in a Residential Single-Family (RS-15) zone. All interested parties are invited to attend.

The Board of Zoning Appeals will conduct a public meeting during which all interested parties will have an opportunity to ask questions, express opposition, or express support regarding this application.  For further information, please contact the Planning Department at (615)-893-6441.

This hearing may be held in-person or electronically.  If the hearing will be held electronically, this determination will be made and posted on the City’s website by the Friday before the scheduled hearing.  In accordance with Executive Order No. 16 issued by Governor Bill Lee on March 20, 2020, as subsequently amended by Executive Order No. 34 on May 6, 2020, by Executive Order No. 51 on June 29, 2020, by Executive Order No. 60 on August 28, 2020, and by Executive Order No. 65 on October 28, 2020, the meeting described above may be conducted electronically, and there may not be physical public access to the meeting due to the need to protect public health, safety and welfare in light of the COVID-19 pandemic.
