Legal Notice of Public Hearings

The Murfreesboro Planning Commission will conduct a public hearing at 6:00 PM on January 9, 2019 in the Council Chambers in City Hall, 111 W. Vine Street, Murfreesboro, Tennessee to consider a petition for annexation [2018-513] and the adoption of a Plan of Services for approximately 21.16 acres located along Veterans Parkway.  The area being considered for annexation includes approximately 500 linear feet of Veterans Parkway right-of-way.  The petition is being made by Mr. Fred Snell, Jr., whose representative, Mr. Rob Molchan of SEC, Inc., may be contacted at (615)-890-7901 for additional information.  A copy of the Plan of Services is available for review in the office of the Planning Director in City Hall, and it is anticipated that a copy will be posted on the City’s web page at www.murfreesborotn.gov the week of the public hearing.  Interested parties may also obtain additional information by calling the Murfreesboro Planning Staff at (615)-893-6441.  All interested parties are invited to attend.

The Murfreesboro Planning Commission will conduct a public hearing at 6:00 PM on January 9, 2019 in the Council Chambers in City Hall, 111 W. Vine Street, Murfreesboro, Tennessee to consider an application [2018-440] to zone approximately 19.94 acres located along Veterans Parkway to PUD (Planned Unit District) simultaneous with annexation.  The proposed PUD (The Cottages at Snell Cove PUD) would permit a 45-lot single-family residential development and commercial development of up to 36,000 square-feet of floor area.  The application is being made by Greenland Partners, LLC, whose representative, Mr. Rob Molchan of SEC, Inc., may be contacted at (615)-890-7901 for additional information.  Copies of the application and the PUD zoning plan are available for review in the office of the Planning Director in City Hall and it is anticipated that they will be posted on the City’s web page at www.murfreesborotn.gov the week of the public hearing.  Interested parties may also obtain additional information by calling the Murfreesboro Planning Staff at (615)-893-6441.  All interested parties are invited to attend.

Vine Street, Murfreesboro, Tennessee to consider a petition for annexation [2018-512] and the adoption of a Plan of Services for approximately 1.8 acres located along Joe B Jackson Parkway and Annell Drive.  The area being considered for annexation includes approximately 300 linear feet of Joe B Jackson Parkway right-of-way and approximately 30 linear feet of Annell Drive right-of-way.  The petition is being made by Ms. Ginger McCreery, whose representative, Ms. Amanda Beam, may be contacted at (615)-542-2875 for additional information.  A copy of the Plan of Services is available for review in the office of the Planning Director in City Hall, and it is anticipated that a copy will be posted on the City’s web page at www.murfreesborotn.gov the week of the public hearing.  Interested parties may also obtain additional information by calling the Murfreesboro Planning Staff at (615)-893-6441.  All interested parties are invited to attend.
