The Murfreesboro Planning Commission will conduct a public hearing at 7:00 PM on December 5, 2018 in the Council Chambers in City Hall, 111 W. Vine Street, Murfreesboro, Tennessee to consider an application [2018-727] to abandon an alley right-of-way located north of Jackson Street and east of North Academy Street.  The application is being made by Mr. Charlie Farrer, who may be contacted at (615)-893-8860.  Interested parties may also obtain additional information by calling the Murfreesboro Planning Staff at (615)-893-6441.  All interested parties are invited to attend.

The Murfreesboro Planning Commission will conduct a public hearing at 7:00 PM on December 5, 2018 in the Council Chambers in City Hall, 111 W. Vine Street, Murfreesboro, Tennessee to consider an application [2018-438] to rezone approximately 1.96 acres located along Veterans Parkway from RS-15 (Single-Family Residential District 15) to PRD (Planned Residential District).  The purpose of the requested PRD is to allow the construction of a clubhouse and amenity center on the subject property in conjunction with the development of a proposed multi-family residential complex to be located on adjacent property to the east. Vine Street, Murfreesboro, Tennessee to consider an application [2018-808] to amend Murfreesboro City Code Appendix A – Zoning, Chart 1 Endnotes, Uses Permitted by Zoning District.  The purpose of this amendment is to set a maximum percentage of developable land area for properties in the Mixed Use (MU) zoning district that can be designated for multi-family residential uses.  A copy of the amendment is available for review in the office of the Planning Director in City Hall.  Interested parties may also obtain additional information by calling the Murfreesboro Planning Staff at (615) 893-6441.  All interested parties are invited to attend.
