The Murfreesboro Planning Commission will conduct a public hearing at 7:00 PM on July 11, 2018 in the Council Chambers in City Hall, 111 W. Vine Street, Murfreesboro, Tennessee to consider an application [2018-421] to rezone approximately 6.8 acres located along Dill Lane from RS-10 (Residential Single-Family 10 District) to RS-A, Type 2 (Residential Single-Family Attached District, Suburban Townhouse).  The application is being made by JCT Contracting, LLC whose representative, Mr. Clyde Rountree of Huddleston-Steele Engineering, Inc., may be contacted at (615)-893-4084 for additional information.  A copy of the application is available for review in the office of the Planning Director in City Hall and it is anticipated that it will be posted on the City’s web page at www.murfreesborotn.gov the week of the public hearingInterested parties may also obtain additional information by calling the Murfreesboro Planning Staff at (615)-893-6441.  All interested parties are invited to attend.

The Murfreesboro Planning Commission will conduct a public hearing at 7:00 PM on July 11, 2018 in the Council Chambers in City Hall, 111 W. Vine Street, Murfreesboro, Tennessee to consider an application [2018-419] to amend the PRD (Planned Residential District) zoning for the Sunset Ridge PRD located along Warmingfield Drive on approximately 5.02 acres.  The proposed change affects the portion of the PRD identified as the Villas at Del Sol (formerly known as Sundust Retreat).  The purposes of this amendment are as follows: 1) to change the required 25’ landscape buffer around the perimeter of the site to a 10’ Type B landscape buffer; 2) to change the location of the proposed fencing around the perimeter of the site to the backs of the individual patios instead; 3) to use City standard street lights instead of decorative street lights; and 4) to use City standard street signage instead of decorative street signage.  The application is being made by O’Brien Loyd, LLC, whose representative, Mr. Chip Loyd, may be contacted at (615)-394-6901 for additional information.  Copies of the application and the proposed amendment are available for review in the office of the Planning Director in City Hall and are anticipated to be available on the City’s website www.murfreesborotn.gov the week of the public hearing .  Interested parties may also obtain additional information by calling the Murfreesboro Planning Staff at (615)-893-6441.  All interested parties are invited to attend.
