MTSU President McPhee featured in August ‘Murfreesboro Storytellers’

Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU) is an ever-expanding public university. This month, Murfreesboro Storytellers host John Hood had the pleasure of talking with MTSU’s president, Dr. Sidney A McPhee, about economics, recruiting, and the various programs MTSU has come to offer.

The August 2017 episode of “Murfreesboro Storytellers” is available for viewing on YouTube at https://youtu.be/gBvSsqis2O8.

This month’s episode takes place at MTSU and was shot in the Strobel Lobby between the Davis Science Building and Wiser-Patten Science Hall.

The August episode of “Murfreesboro Storytellers” features:
• John Hood and President McPhee discuss the impact of MTSU’s presence in Murfreesboro.
• President McPhee gives some insight into the “True Blue Tour,” a program that tours around the major areas of Tennessee to perform informational sessions about MTSU
• President McPhee also talks about MTSU’s unique and in-demand programs, such as their newest program in Fermentation Sciences and Mechatronics Engineering.

“Storytellers” can also be seen on CityTV Sunday, 9:30 a.m. and 7:30 p.m.; Monday, 7:30 p.m., Tuesday and Thursday, 9:30 a.m. and Saturday, 9:30 a.m. and 7:30 p.m.   You can watch “Storytellers” on CityTV (located on Comcast Xfinity Channel 3 and AT&T Uverse channel 99), on Roku, or simply view the program online by visiting www.murfreesborotn.gov/storytellers
