Affordable Housing, Solid Waste options, tourism and more in April ‘In the City’

The Murfreesboro Housing Authority presents a Master Plan to redevelop Oakland Courts’ public housing and local government officials tour facilities in California in the search for Solid Waste options, this month ‘In the City.’

Join host Michael Linn White as she features the tourism and economic development benefits of the State High School Basketball Championships and showcases an exhibit at MTSU’s Walker Library honoring Track and Field legend Dean Hayes.

  • Did you know a Revolutionary War hero is buried in a cemetery behind Haynes Brothers Lumber Company? The Daughters of the American Revolution honored Capt. William Lytle in a special ceremony.
  • A group of co-workers and friends honored late MPD officer Michael Daingerfield with a swing at the Greenway’s General Bragg Trailhead. Daingerfield worked the Greenway and was with the Mountain Trackers Association. https://youtu.be/MfViP4JKbPM.
