[ARCHIVED] Adams Tennis, Earth Experience, Firehouse Expo in November ‘In the City’

Murfreesboro is the destination for many premiere facilities and events. November’s ‘In the City’ features Adams Tennis Complex, the Earth Experience, and firefighters engaging in hands-on training at the Doug Young Public Safety Training Center.

The newest edition of CityTV’s ‘In the City,’ your source of what’s happening in the City of Murfreesboro, is available on YouTube and airing on CityTV through the month of October

The November edition of “In the City” also features:

  • The Murfreesboro Fire Rescue Department hosted hands-on-training for the 2019 Firehouse Expo at the Doug Young Public Safety Training Center. Firefighters nationwide use the state-of-the-art facility to enhance their live-fire training skills while enjoying hospitality from the City of Murfreesboro
  • STEAMapalooza at Overall Creek Elementary attracts school districts from around Middle Tennessee to learn about science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics. Principal Don Bartch explains
  • One of the City’s newest assets, Adams Tennis Complex, continues to draw players and competition from around the country
  • The Earth Experience Museum is a hidden gem of natural history in Murfreesboro
  • Hobgood Elementary showcases a school-wide STEAM project that literally took to the skies
  • The MTSU Blue Raider Hall of Fame inducts seven new members. CityTV takes you to the festivities featuring some of the new inductees
  • Plus, the Middle Half Marathon, a ‘Drug Take Back,’ Fall Leaf Collection, VA Mental Health Services, and MCS teacher Heather Knox Wins Presidential Award.

‘In the City’ is hosted by award-winning multimedia journalist Michael Linn White and produced by Steve Burris every month in the studios located at Murfreesboro City Hall.

The November 2019 episode is airing on CityTV throughout the month or anytime on YouTube and Facebook. The monthly magazine show airs every day at 8:00 a.m., 6:30 p.m., and 10:30 p.m. on Channel 3 and 1094 on Comcast Xfinity Channels 3 and 1094, Channel 99 on AT&T Uverse, Roku, Apple TV via Cablecast Screenweave app, and YouTube.
