[ARCHIVED] Mayor holding livestreamed briefing on Facebook and CityTV following Council meeting, Nov. 4

Mayor Shane McFarland will hold a live televised briefing Thursday, Nov. 4, 2021, on Facebook and CityTV following the regular City Council meeting, which begins at 6 p.m.

On Wednesday, October 13, the Murfreesboro City Council discussed a framework to manage the revenue stream resulting from the sale of the City’s electric distribution system. Council members outlined particulars of the framework during a Special Workshop meeting at the Municipal Airport. Among other items, Mayor McFarland will discuss details of the framework. The Mayor’s briefings are intended to openly discuss topics of concern to the Murfreesboro community. McFarland encourages the people of Murfreesboro and Rutherford County to join in the conversation.
