  1. Winter Hike at Great Stone Door

    February 27, 2021, All Day @ Stone Door Ranger Center, 1183 Stone Door Rd, Beersheba Springs, TN 37305

    Join us on our winter hike at one of the nine separate areas in South Cumberland State Park of Tennessee. We will hike approximately 7.4 miles that are difficult in spots. Well worth the effort to find the sheer sandstone cliffs, rugged canyons, and extraordinary views. Transportation will not be provided. Online registration is required at murfreesboroparks.com. Further information about location will be disclosed to registrants.

  2. Virtual MLK Exhibition

    February 27, 2021, 8:00 AM - 11:00 PM

    The Bradley Academy Museum and Cultural Center, in support of promoting MLK Day in January, has created a way to produce a student art show exhibited at Bradley Museum that showcases art inspired by the teachings of Martin Luther King, Jr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s messaging was crucial to empowering individuals, as well as strengthening communities, bridging barriers, and creating solutions to the social problems around homelessness, unemployment, “under” employment, food insecurities, violence, child abuse, prejudice and stereotypes. We have worked with all ages of students to create a timeline and artwork throughout the showcase while showing off the creativeness and talents of our community’s artists. Call for more information on private tours. For all ages.

    This class consists of basic and advanced moves using a traditional aerobic step. It is designed for most fitness levels and consists of moderate to high impact cardiovascular movements. This class may include standing and floor work and may use body weight, hand weights, bands and balls.
