  2. Pickleball - McFadden

    This sport combines many elements of tennis, badminton and ping-pong. The rules are simple and the game is easy for beginners to learn, but can develop into a fast-paced competitive game for experienced players. Strategies include lobbing, overhead slamming, passing drive shots from the baseline, and fast volley exchanges at the net.

    For ages 16 and up. A high-intensity program designed to increase overall fitness. This program can help you get stronger, more active, have more energy and confidence, and help vary your current workout program. Whether your goal is to lose weight, improve your level of fitness or just challenge yourself, this workout is for you. A wide variety of training techniques will be used, including interval training, super sets, metabolic circuits and finishers.

  5. Nature Play Days

    For children ages 1 and up (with an adult). It's a play date with Mother Nature! Help build your child's interest in learning to play with objects found in nature in our Nature Play Area. Build a fort, play in the water, climb, crawl and get dirty. Join us for programmer-led activities such as mud painting, sculpting with clay, chalk art, and balance and agility competitions. It will be naturally fun for all!

  11. Movies Under the Stars

    Movies Under the Stars returns this summer with a line up of family-orientated films. Bring your blankets, lawn chairs, or truck bed. Movie lists are also available on site, on the Parks and Rec Facebook page, and at all MPRD facilities. Refreshments are available for purchase. Cancelations due to weather are posted on MPRD’s Facebook page.
