Each week we will look at one of our resident education animals for a mini lesson of animals that call Tennessee home. Come out and meet the best teachers we have - the animals! For all ages. Did you know that the land where we now walk used to be underneath a shallow sea filled with megalodon, ammonites and trilobites? We also had giant marine reptiles such as mosasaur and xiphactinus. Learn about the history of Tennessee as shown in our fossils. Reservations are required.

This group will share tips of care with each other, learn from others as well as presenters and even go on outings. We may have a rheumatologist presenting a topic of interest, or a meditation class or Tai Chi class for those with arthritis. If you have a form of arthritis or care for someone who does, join us and bring your thoughts about the kind of activities you would like for us to share.
