If you want to try backpacking for the first time, but you don't know where to begin or you don't have the gear, this program is for you! The first day's hike will traverse through shady woodlands with crystal clear mountain creeks. The easy trail will eventually lead us to the striking 50 foot Greeter Falls. We will stay overnight at a backcountry campground near Greeter. On day two, we will hike on a scenic gulf rim trail to one of the most beautiful vistas in Middle Tennessee, Stone Door. The fee includes transportation and instruction. Gear rentals such as tents, packs, sleeping pads, stoves, cook sets, and headlamps are available at no extra charge. All participants must attend the pre-trip meeting. Space is limited and reservations are required by calling 615-217-3017.

Program will not meet on April 13.
We will learn about all the amazing MAMMALS that call Tennessee home. We will examine biofacts such as animal furs, deer antlers, and skulls to discover what they tell us about these animals. Reservations are required. For ages 6+ years.

We're all in this together in Disney Channel's smash hit musical featuring the students of East High. It's the first day after winter break at East High. The Jocks, Brainiacs, Thespians and Skater Dudes find their cliques, recount their vacations and look forward to the new year. Basketball team captain and resident jock, Troy, discovers that the brainy Gabriella, a girl he met singing karaoke on his ski trip, has just enrolled at East High. They cause an upheaval when they decide to audition for the high school musical that is being led by Ms. Darbus. Although many students resent the threat posed to the "status quo," Troy and Gabriella's alliance might just open the door for others to shine as well. Disney's High School Musical is fun for the whole family. Its large cast size and upbeat numbers make it the ideal show for middle and high school productions or the highlight of any community theatre's season.
