MPRD Summer Camps

  1. All Things Theatre Camp

    July 16, 2021, 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM @ Patterson Park Community Center

    In the morning this camp will focus on ensemble and solo singing, basic theatre choreography and facial expressions using Broadway numbers. Have fun developing your theatre skills with songs, dance, acting games and exercises that will enhance your confidence, positivity and expression. After lunch we will shift our focus to learn what happens behind the scenes. Campers will take an in-depth look at all the happenings backstage in the theatre, including but not limited to stage management, lighting, sound, set design, sewing, and make-up. Join us for a fun filled week of theatre! For ages 12 - 17. Maximum Capacity: 20 participants Registration begins Monday, March 1, 2021 at 8:00 a.m.

    Do something unique and learn how to save lives…become an American Red Cross Junior Lifeguard! At this camp you will learn First-Aid, CPR, water rescues, and you will be able to tell your friends you are a certified Junior Lifeguard.     The Murfreesboro Adult Basketball League is a great way for adult athletes to be competitive, stay in shape, and continue to play the game. This league offers full court games with qualified officials and scorekeepers weekly. The league is divided into two divisions: An A (competitive) division and a B (rec) division.   1. United Way 'Stuff The Bus' Supply Drive

    The “Stuff the Bus” campaign occurs annually to ensure that our most at-risk students have everything they need to start their school year off ready to learn. Items needed for the “Stuff the Bus” Drive include backpacks, color pencils, crayons, dry erase markers, glue sticks, composition notebooks, and scissors. United Way stands as our dedicated partner who continues to solve the problems facing our community that are difficult to face and too hard to ignore.
