Mission
The mission of the Murfreesboro Fire Rescue Department is to deliver the highest level of emergency response with the greatest margin of safety in the most fiscally responsible way.  Personnel are dedicated to providing progressive fire protection, technical rescue, basic life support medical services, codes enforcement and inspection, and public fire safety education.  The Department also provides the community with a coordinated and planned response to natural and man-made disasters.

Murfreesboro Fire Rescue Department personnel is dedicated to providing outstanding fire protection for the City of Murfreesboro. Our ultimate goal is to deliver the highest level of emergency response with the greatest margin of safety in the most fiscally responsible way.
