For payments of fines and costs, the court clerk can accept cash, credit cards, money orders, and personal checks written on a local bank with your current name, address, and phone number preprinted on the check. You can also pay online or over the counter in City Court with a credit card.
If you cannot pay all of your fines and costs on the day court is held, you must file a motion with the Clerk for additional time to pay.
Cash Appearance Bond Schedule Murfreesboro City Court has a cash appearance bond schedule for most violations. You may pay the cash appearance bond before court and avoid the court appearance and court costs. If there is not an amount placed on the citation by the officer when the ticket is issued, you may call the clerk's office at 615-890-2142.
