Outdoor Murfreesboro

Outdoor Murfreesboro is the environmental education, natural resource conservation, and adventure recreation branch of the Murfreesboro Parks and Recreation Department. We offer quality educational and adventure programs for school, homeschool, and scout groups and outdoor programming for families and adults. We also manage natural areas in the city and provide natural resource-related volunteer opportunities through our Conservation in Action programs.

The Wilderness Station at Barfield Crescent Park is the home base for Outdoor Murfreesboro's educational programs.
