Bus Route Changes Effective November 02, 2020




The City of Murfreesboro Transportation Department has identified 2 Rover Bus routes for proposed changes and improvements.  These changes are proposed to take effect on November 2, 2020.


  • These changes do not eliminate any existing service or stops.
  • Mall District will add stops at McFadden, Kings Highway, and relocate a stop on Lothric Way to Livy Dearing Place.
  • Gateway will add return stops at St. Clair Street, and Westbrook Towers.

Murfreesborotn.gov), click on Public Transit, then click on Proposed Route Changes.  With no proposal to eliminate stops, a formal public meeting is not required, however, an informal display of the proposed changes will be available at the Rover Bus Hub located on the corner of Walnut St. and Burton at 220 W Burton St. Murfreesboro, TN  37130 on Friday, September 25, 2020, 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM.  Comment cards will be available.
