The Murfreesboro Police Department and the Criminal Investigations Division are dedicated to the pursuit of justice in every case we investigate.  Our Crimes Against Persons Unit work diligently to try and solve all unsolved and Cold Cases.

However, citizens input is critical in solving these investigations, and we need your help.  You have the opportunity to help identify, locate and apprehend violent offenders who prey upon our community.

MPD Crime Files Episode 1 Fausto Hernandez
58-year-old Fausto Hernandez was shot and killed on July 15, 2016 behind a business at 1208 E. Northfield Blvd. in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.

MPD Crime Files Episode 2 Terrell Ray
30-year=old Terrell Ray was shot multiple times in the back and killed on August 2, 2019 at the Villager Condos on Middle Tennessee Blvd. in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.  Detectives said Ray was an innocent victim.
