The information desk clerk on duty greets visitors as they enter the lobby of Police Headquarters. Their most important job is to greet and assist everyone who enters with compassion and a smile.
Desk Clerk Responsibilities
These clerks receive payments for all crash reports and police incident reports requested by the public, fingerprints taken for personal use, and copies of videotapes provided. The information desk also answers all incoming general information calls and provides assistance and directions to visitors. If the visitor needs assistance with something other than a police matter, the clerk will direct the visitor to the proper department or agency for further assistance.
