Adventure Camps I and II FULL
High Adventure awaits you this week! Learn new outdoor skills that will test your courage, make your heart race, get you laughing, and help you to appreciate what the great outdoors has to offer. Climbing, kayaking, caving, hiking, and much more. Participants may register for only one (1) Adventure Camp but are eligible to register for the Adventure Day on June 29.

Explorers Camp FULL
Take this week to really EXPLORE the outdoors. We will combine adventure and wildlife activities that are sure to bring out the explorer in every kid. Enjoy kayaking, nature art, hiking, and more. Learn about all the animals that call Tennessee home while enjoying new friends as you share laughs and make memories during this fun-filled week.

Lit'l Rangers Camp FULL
Ignite a passion for the outdoors. Lit'l Rangers will discover nature in this fun-filled camp with crafts, animals, games, exploration and more. Young ones will enjoy the spirit of camp and the wonder of the outdoors.

Overnight Backpacking
This is a great experience for those teens who want a challenge, and for the parents who want them to get outside and away from the screens. Join the Outdoor Murfreesboro staff on a fun-filled overnight backpacking trip in South Cumberland State Park. A great way to meet new friends or to strengthen skills in the outdoors, this trip will combine adventure, fun, exercise and fresh air. No prior experience necessary. Participants will learn the basics of backpacking, how to pack properly, wilderness safety, and Leave No Trace principles. All gear and transportation is included.

Summer Kayak Club FULL
Hey, Teens! Summer’s around the corner, and it’s time to find something to do in the great city of Murfreesboro. How about spending your time and energy on the waterways that are around us? Every week we will embark on a new adventure along the Stones River. Learn kayak paddle strokes, how to read the river and water safety techniques while meeting new friends.
Ages: 13 - 17

Wildlife Camp FULL
Does your child love animals? Do they love the outdoors? Wildlife Camp will allow your child to strengthen their appreciation of Tennessee’s native wildlife while also enjoying outdoor sports. They will experience fishing, kayaking, hiking, archery, and live demonstrations with our education animals, and more. Experience the outdoors in a new way this summer!

Zoologist Camp
Are you passionate about animals? Do you want to learn how to care for them in captivity or how to protect them or their habitats in the wild? Get hands-on experience caring for animals that are domestic and our ambassador wildlife at the Wilderness Station. Explore animals in the wild and have a better understanding of how to help them including learning about wetland buffer zones for farms, domestics and wildlife, etc. Overnight camping adventure Wednesday and Thursday night to grasp why saving an endangered species is important and what you can do.
