Legal Notice of Public Hearings

The Murfreesboro Planning Commission will conduct a public hearing at 6:00 PM on November 4, 2020 in the Council Chambers in City Hall, 111 W. Vine Street, Murfreesboro, Tennessee to consider an application [2020-418] to rezone approximately 13.1 acres located along the north side of West Thompson Lane from RS-15 (Single-Family Residential District 15) to PRD (Planned Residential District).  The purpose of the proposed PRD (Kings Landing Villas PRD) is to allow a development consisting of both single-family attached and single-family detached residential dwelling units.  The application is being made by Black Diamond Development, whose representative, Mr. Clyde Rountree of Huddleston-Steele Engineering, Inc., may be contacted at (615)-893-4084 for additional information.  Copies of the application and the PRD pattern book are available for review in the office of the Planning Director in City Hall and it is anticipated that they will be posted on the City’s web page at www.murfreesborotn.gov the week of the public hearing.  Interested parties may also obtain additional information by calling the Murfreesboro Planning Staff at (615)-893-6441.  All interested parties are invited to attend.

Vine Street, Murfreesboro, Tennessee to consider an application [2020-420] to zone approximately 20.2 acres located along Beasie Road and Warrior Drive as a PSO (Planned Signage Overlay District).  The purpose of the PSO (Costco Wholesale PSO) is to establish a signage plan for the proposed Costco development.
