The Murfreesboro Planning Commission will conduct a public hearing at 6:00 PM on Wednesday, July 13, 2022 in the Council Chambers in City Hall, 111 W. Vine Street, Murfreesboro, Tennessee to consider an application [2022-410] to rezone approximately 19.5 acres located along Franklin Road west of Fortress Boulevard from RS-15 (Single-Family Residential District 15) to RS-8 (Single-Family Residential District 8) and to rezone approximately 6.0 acres from RS-15 to CF (Commercial Fringe District), as shown on this illustration. The request is being made by Beazer Homes, whose representative, Mr. Matt Taylor of SEC, Inc., may be contacted at (615) 890-7901 for additional information.  A copy of the application is available for review in the office of the Planning Director in City Hall and it is anticipated that it will be posted on the City’s web page at www.murfreesborotn.gov the week of the public hearing. The Murfreesboro Planning Commission will conduct a public hearing at 6:00 PM on Wednesday, July 13, 2022 in the Council Chambers in City Hall, 111 W. Vine Street, Murfreesboro, Tennessee to consider an application [2022-413] to rezone approximately 10.8 acres located along Wilkinson Pike west of Willowoak Trail from RS-15 (Single-Family Residential District 15), MU (Mixed Use District), GDO-1 (Gateway Design Overlay District 1), & GDO-2 (Gateway Design Overlay District 2) to PRD (Planned Residential District), GDO-1, & GDO-2, as shown on this illustration. Vine Street, Murfreesboro, Tennessee to consider an application [2022-412] to amend the PID (Planned Industrial District) zoning on approximately 151 acres located along Joe B Jackson Parkway and Richard Reeves Drive and to zone approximately 0.9 acres located along Elam Road east of I-24 to PID simultaneous with annexation, as shown on this illustration.  The purposes of the PID amendment include, but are not limited to, adding a parcel to the PID, modifying the “region” lines of the PID, increasing the number of uses permitted in the various “regions” of the PID , and providing for a driveway connection from the subject property to Elam Road.  The request is being made by Swanson Developments, LP, whose representative, Mr. Matt Taylor of SEC, Inc., may be contacted at (615) 890-7901 for additional information.  Copies of the application and zoning plan are available for review in the office of the Planning Director in City Hall and it is anticipated that they will be posted on the City’s web page at www.murfreesborotn.gov the week of the public hearing.
