City Streets and Storm Drainage Infrastructure
Murfreesboro's Engineering Department - Street Division works to encourage pride in the appearance of Murfreesboro and maintains safe and livable neighborhoods. They provide a strong focus on Storm Water Maintenance to ensure our creeks and streams are safe for all forms of life, as well as maintain the usability of all City infrastructure for residents. The Street Department is implementing a 20-year repaving program for City streets in an effort to maintain a high degree of safety and reliability. Sustainable financial and economic benefits come from reducing the frequency at which costly infrastructure needs to be replaced through timely and efficient maintenance.
