The Murfreesboro City Council will meet in a regular workshop meeting at 11:30 a.m., Wednesday, July 10, 2019, at Murfreesboro Police Headquarters, Community Room, 1004 N. Highland Ave., to discuss issues with staff.

Who: The Murfreesboro City Council and City Staff.

What: The Council will gather to discuss City issues with Staff, including

  • FY 2019 City Manager Approved Budget Amendments

  • Solid Waste Curbside Collection Design Criteria

  • United Way Bold Goals 2030 Presentation

  • Review of Buffer Requirements

  • Sanitary Sewer Allocation Assessment for Future Land Use

  • Solid Waste Brush and Limb Pick-up Week of the Month Zoning Proposal

  • Project Development Update

  • Capital Improvement Plan

    When: Wednesday, July 10, 2019 - 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.

    Where: Murfreesboro Police Headquarters

    On July 26, 2018, City Council adopted Resolution 18-R-23 establishing regular Council Meeting dates as Thursday at 7:00 p.m. and adding the second Wednesday of each month at 11:30 a.m. for holding regular special Workshop Sessions. Regular meetings in a workshop format allow staff and Council to discuss City issues, facilitate discussions, provide information, and receive Council direction. Additionally, the regular workshop meetings allow staff to discuss City matters with Council in a public meeting that citizens can attend and observe, in keeping with Council priority for community engagement.
