Mothers Over Murder (MOM) is a community action grief support group that supports parents and families that have lost their youth to senseless acts of violence. These Mothers work to support parents to navigate the healing journey and the court process as well as work in the community to reduce violence. Representatives will be on hand to answer questions.
"It is our believe that we can cultivate the community by instilling value in our children and reinvigorating the village mindset into our neighborhoods that we are here for each other," said MOM member Rafiah Muhammad-McCormick.
This is the 23rd year the City has participated in the program.
