‘In the City’ features Rutherford County Library System, Perform Murfreesboro, more

The Rutherford County Library System is on the move and wants your feedback to plan the future, the talented children of Perform Murfreesboro bring ‘Pirates Past Noon Kids’ to life, and floating down Stones River with CityTV on the October edition of “In the City.”  


“In the City” is currently airing on YouTube, CityTV and other platforms, featuring news and developments in the fast-growing community of Murfreesboro.

and airing on CityTV throughout the month. Stories in the October episode also include: 


  • Communities need libraries. Rutherford County Library System seeks public feedback Email to provide input on the libraries of the future.  
  • Patterson Park Community Center’s Washington Theatre showcased some pint-sized pirates in a musical by Perform Murfreesboro Perform Murfreesboro strives to provide a positive influence on children through theatrical arts by helping them build confidence and skills.  
  • Producer Steve Burris spent a day on the West Fork Stones River with Murfreesboro Stormwater Department in a search for illicit discharges

“In the City” is hosted by Michael Linn White and produced by Steve Burris every month in the studios located at Murfreesboro City Hall.   


The October 2021 episode is airing on CityTV throughout the month or anytime on YouTube and Facebook. The magazine show airs every day at 8:00 a.m., 6:30 p.m., and 10:30 p.m. on Channel 3. “In the City” also airs on Comcast Xfinity Channels 3 and 1094, Channel 99 on AT&T Uverse, Roku, Amazon Fire TV,  Apple TV and YouTube.
