[ARCHIVED] 'Behind The Badge' February 2022 Episode

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (February 7, 2022) – Murfreesboro Police Department partnered with the Prevention Coalition for Success and the Tennessee National Guard Stashed Away Trailer educating parents about teenage substance misuse and the places their children could hide drugs and alcohol in their bedrooms. The latest episode of ‘Behind The Badge’ with Public Information Officer Larry Flowers also features a nationwide Amber Alert where a 3-year-old was safely found.

‘Behind the Badge’ is airing on Murfreesboro CityTV throughout the upcoming months and features:

  • Educating parents on illegal substance that could be hidden in their teen’s bedroom.
  • Cybercrimes are on the rise, and how MPD is playing a role in teaching the next generation of Cybersecurity workers
  • MPD is expanding its Police Chaplain Program.
  • Meet the officers who helped save a 3-year-old North Carolina girl who was the focus of a nationwide Amber Alert.


 The ‘Behind the Badge’ February 2022 episode is hosted by Public Information Officer Larry Flowers and produced by CityTV’s Michael Nevills quarterly.
