[ARCHIVED] City offices closing in observance of Memorial Day holiday May 30

Memorial Day

In observance of Memorial DayCity Hall and most other City offices will be closed Monday, May 30, 2022. Some recreational facilities will be closed Saturday, May 28 and on Memorial Day, Monday, May 30.  Murfreesboro Transit, the City’s public transportation system, will not run on Memorial Day.  

 

The St. Clair Street Senior Center and Patterson Park Community Center will be closed on Memorial Day. 

 

The Solid Waste Department will be closed Memorial Day. There will be no garbage pick-up on Memorial Day. Monday’s garbage pick-up will be Tuesday, May 31, and Tuesday’s garbage pick-up will be Wednesday, June 1.

 

Adams Tennis Complex will be open from 8 a.m.- 2 p.m. on Memorial Day.    

 

Golf:  OId Fort, Bloomfield Links and VA Golf Courses will be open for business on Memorial Day. 


Boro Beach, at Sports Com, officially opens for the season, Saturday, May 28, 10am - 4:30 pm.  Boro Beach will be hosting "Memorial Day Madness" featuring swimming, music, games, and prizes on Memorial Day, Monday, May 30, 10am - 4:30pm
