The latest edition of the video magazine, “In the City” with Michael Linn White, features affordable housing upgrades by the Murfreesboro Housing Authority, MCS “Music Fest,” and swinging into golf at Old Fort Golf Club

Stories in the April edition of “In the City” include: 

  • Murfreesboro’s affordable housing neighborhoods are getting impressive facelifts thanks to the work of the Murfreesboro Housing Authority, tax credits, and private investment. “In the City” gives viewers a flying bird’s eye view via drone video. Steve Burris reports 
  • “Music Fest” brings students together once again to entertain a large gathering after a three- year hiatus. Michael Linn White features MCS Director Dr. Trey Duke from the fest at World Outreach  
  • See the landscaping changes underway to The Wetlands at Discovery Center Garden at Murfree Spring. Multimedia Producer John Padgett takes us outdoors with Natural Resource Division Manager Kristin Hopkins 
  • Another outdoor Murfreesboro venue has something to offer for all ages and sizes. “In the City” reminds us how golfers enjoy the Sport of Golf throughout life via special programs at Old Fort Golf Club and Bloomfield Links with Director of Golf Trey Adams. Sign up today!

State officials presented the latest plans to reduce crashes and improve reliable travel time. TDOT Director of Traffic Operations and Community Relations Coordinator Rebekah Hammond discuss this major investment in Middle Tennessee roadways
