The persons of interest in the Murfreesboro Motel car fire that occurred early Monday morning have been identified as Javin Maldonado, 27, and Anna Marie Lopez, both of Smyrna.

Authorities have obtained warrants for their arrest. Maldonado is being charged with setting fire to personal property and reckless endangerment and Lopez is being charged with harboring a fugitive.

“Maldonado most likely has visible burns on 50-70 percent of his body,” said MFRD Assistant Fire Marshal Carl Peas. He is 5’7”, weighs 140 pounds, and has black hair and brown eyes. He has a gold tooth and two tattoos: one on his chest, a picture of a brick wall; the other is three dots on his right wrist.
His last known address is 701 Enon Springs Road in Smyrna.

There is limited information on the female suspect, who goes by the name “Anna Marie Lopez.” She is described as being about 5’3” and weighing around 130 pounds. Her last known address is also 701 Enon Springs Road in Smyrna.

“The two are traveling, possibly in the Oklahoma City area,” said Peas. “Maldonado could be seeking medical attention for his burns.”
