Murfreesboro Fire & Rescue Department’s District 1 and Rescue 9, Murfreesboro Police Department, and Rutherford County EMS responded to a motor vehicle accident involving a tractor trailer truck at 1501 Molloy Lane just before 4:30 Tuesday morning.

The driver of a loaded tractor trailer truck ran into the back of a parked trailer in the parking lot of Johnson Controls. According to Acting Shift Commander Raymond Smith, the front of the truck was damaged and had the driver’s legs pinned. MFRD’s Rescue 9 used a ram to push the cab and dash of the truck back enough for EMS to safely remove him for transport.

The 55-year-old was transported via ambulance to Saint Thomas Rutherford. His condition is unknown at this time.
