City Hall Rotunda
Rutherford County Arts Alliance (RAA) members have collaborated for the third annual rotunda exhibit, along with the 2021 STEAM Festival to bring you the “Science of Creativity.” It is an exhibit that raises the question, “Is creativity a gift waiting to be developed in all of us?” RAA’s diverse display of artistic curiosity, experimentation, as well as the challenge of connecting knowledge with current events, is meant to inspire and pique the imagination.
Patterson Community Center
Short intense bouts of strength and cardio training followed by short periods of rest. This style of training helps the body burn calories and fat throughout the day.
McFadden Community Center

Specifically designed fitness class for men and women over 50. This class will improve your cardiovascular capacity, and muscle strength, as well as, your flexibility.

Join us for a functional fitness class designed to develop flexibility, mobility, & balance through a series of gentle yet effective full body exercises. We will use a combination of ballet, Tai Chi, & yoga movements to support healthy muscles, joints, & connective tissue. Must be able to walk without the help of another person and not use a walker, scooter or wheelchair most of the time for mobility. For ages 60+. No class on December 27 & 29.
