  1. Youth Cheerleading League Registration

    Cheerleading is a fantastic way to stay healthy and physically fit while building confidence. The sport promotes team building in a positive way. By improving flexibility and coordination, cheerleading develops well-rounded athletes with a positive self-image. Trained instructors will teach your child cheers and chants, choreography, and basic tumbling. Teams will practice and cheer for their assigned football teams. They will also practice once a week at McFadden Community Center, where they will work on choreography and tumbling. The season will be highlighted with a cheerleading show. For ages 6-13.

  2. 13-17 Summer Basketball League

    June 26, 2021, 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM @ Patterson Park Community Center

    The 13-17 Murfreesboro Basketball League is for youth aged 13-17 to compete in an organized basketball league. This league is focused on providing recreationally competitive basketball games that will help increase a player's skill and ability while having fun playing basketball. The league will consist of seven weeks of regular season games followed by a single elimination tournament. Each team will have one game a week with two officials, two scorekeepers, and a coaching staff provided. Teams will be drafted by coaches, and the league follows all TSSAA rules with a few Murfreesboro Parks and Recreation rule adjustments provided to coaching staff. For ages 13-17.     Join us for a Saturday morning of boat and water exploration! There will be several different types of canoes and kayaks for you to try. Discover characteristics and advantages of each craft, boating basics, correct paddling strokes, and boat safety from knowledgeable paddlers. PFDs and paddles will be provided. No preregistration required. For all ages.

  4. Movies Under the Stars at Fountains at the Gateway: The War with Grandpa

    Join us under the stars for a fun, family-friendly movie night featuring “The War with Grandpa.” The movie stars Robert DeNiro, Marisa Tomei, Laura Mariano, Christopher Walken, and Eugene Levy and is rated PG. Bring a blanket or lawn chair. You are welcome to bring your own snacks as concessions may be limited.
