Zumba® is a dynamic and fun dance-based fitness program that fuses Latin rhythms with international music themes. It combines the principles of interval training and resistance training to maximize caloric output, fat burning, and total body toning. All fitness levels are welcome.
This 45-minute muscle building class is perfect for beginners, seniors and intermediate exercisers. This class includes standing and floor work and may use body weight, hand weights, bands and balls. Light cardio bursts may also be included.
Patterson Park Community Center

Students will explore and discover art in nature. We will take a hike on Marshall Knob Trail to focus on the beauty of autumn. Back to Basics
This class works at improving muscle strength and movement patterns for a better aligned and mobile body. Movements use body weight only and take place standing, seated, and possibly on the floor.
Tai Chi is an ancient Chinese discipline consisting of slow movements and postures done in a fluid and relaxed manner. It is used to reduce stress, improve muscle strength, increase flexibility, stamina, and agility, as well as the feeling of well being. For ages 15+.
A class for budding, and new actors. Learn theater history, lingo and basic acting. For ages 8-12. Class meets Wednesdays, October 12-November 2.

This high-intensity interval class will have you working in 20 seconds bursts with 10 seconds of rest. You'll finish with an extra core section for a full-body workout. Use of dumbbells, body weight; standing, and floor work.
