Tai Chi is an ancient Chinese discipline consisting of slow movements and postures done in a fluid and relaxed manner. It is used to reduce stress, improve muscle strength, increase flexibility, stamina, and agility, as well as the feeling of well being. For ages 15+.
Wilderness Station at Barfield Crescent Park
This class will teach you the basics of Tai Chi...tips for balance, proper form, breath control, etc. Unlike regular exercise classes, Tai Chi is best done while wearing loose-fitting clothing so make sure you have proper attire. You will do a bit of stretching and bending in your Tai Chi classes.
More challenging version of the Metabolic Burn class, using heavier weights with short bursts of cardio training.
A peaceful class to focus on improving your balance, flexibility and core strength while reducing stress. For all fitness levels.

be shown how to use it. All supplies are provided in your fee.

to intermediate level. You must be able to lie down
and stand up without assistance for this class. Mats

If you are an active adult looking for a modified Zumba class that recreates the original moves of Zumba that you love at a lower intensity, this class introduces easy to follow Zumba choreography that focuses on balance, range of motion and coordination. Sign up for M/W or T/TH class.

Improving flexibility, relieving stiffness, and creating a happy mental state are a few benefits that chair yoga provides for our bodies. Participants may choose one or two days of the week for chair yoga. *Class fee is $5 a month for each day a week. If a student chooses two day week, the fee is $10 a month. If a student chooses one day, it will be $5 a month.
