About City Manager Craig Tindall
The Murfreesboro City Council appointed Craig Tindall as City Manager in June 2018. Prior to his appointment, he served as Murfreesboro’s City Attorney for more than two years.
Tindall has a degree in Business Administration (Finance) from Arizona State University and a law degree from Southern Methodist University. He practiced law in the public and private sectors for about 30 years, include two years with a professional sports team. During that time, he served for 12 years as a city attorney in Arizona.
Tindall was a Board member of Valley Metro Rail during the planning, financing, and construction of Greater Phoenix Area’s light rail system. He was also part of a leadership team that completed several large economic development projects, including creation of a Sports and Entertainment District that incorporates facilities for four professional sports teams.
