Joe is the Training and Development Manager for the City of Murfreesboro with over 10 years of work experience in training, management, and employee development. He studied History at Berea College in Berea, Kentucky and has worked in higher education, international education in Central America for non-profit entities, and in the private sector managing teams and developing training programs for a major resort company. Joe believes in the importance of promoting a service-oriented mindset in the workplace.
Joe enjoys spending time with his family and pets, reading, watching hockey, playing video games (especially in VR), being active, and discussing the curiosities of the human experience. Joe enjoys travel adventures every chance he can. His favorite journeys include cross-country road trips with his family, studying in Japan, and excursions in Ireland. He regards himself as a lifelong learner and is looking forward to making positive contributions in the workplace at City, while also learning from his fellow co-workers.
